Who we are

Founded in 2004 by New Zealander Grant Midgley, Chamlang was gifted its moniker based on Grant’s passion for mountains. Chamlang is named after a mountain in the Himalayas, near Mt Everest, one Grant still hopes to climb one day. Like the peak, Chamlang represents Grant’s professional aspirations and determination to reach the top.

With his team of highly skilled plasterers, painters and decorators, the team at Chamlang have worked hard to gain a reputation in the industry for innovative ideas and determination to work through challenges in order to gain the highest standard – on time and in budget. This has led to many awards for the team.
